Movers & Makers
A little bit of movement. A little bit of making. A lot less pressure.
Movers & Makers is a relaxed creative wellbeing experience for mums and their children to move, make and spend time together.
Because activities for children don't always need to mean sitting on the sidelines with a lukewarm coffee while they have all the fun.
This one's for you too.
Time for them. Space for you.
The school holidays can be a lot.
Finding things to do. Keeping everyone entertained. Trying to make memories while also juggling approximately 47 other things in your head.
Movers & Makers creates a different kind of space.
We bring together gentle, playful movement and creative activities designed for children and their grown-ups to enjoy side by side.
No dance experience.
No artistic talent required.
No expectation to make something Pinterest-worthy.
Just an opportunity to move, create, connect and have some fun together.
What happens at Movers & Makers?
Every session is slightly different, but you can expect a combination of:
Mindful movement
Simple, playful movement activities designed to help everyone arrive, move their bodies and connect.
Creative making
Painting, crafting and creating together, with activities children can explore in their own way.
Time together
Space to do something alongside your child without needing to organise it, tidy your house for it or think about what you're doing next.
Something for you, too
Movers & Makers isn't a children's class where adults happen to be in the room.
We've designed it with you in mind as well.
Who is it for?
Movers & Makers is designed for mums first - and their children.
You don't need to be confident with movement. You don't need to think of yourself as creative. And your child absolutely does not need to sit beautifully still and follow every instruction.

Why movement and making?
Sometimes connection happens more easily when we're doing something together.
Movement gives us an opportunity to notice our bodies, play and release some of the day's energy.
Creativity gives us permission to experiment without needing to get something "right".
And doing both alongside our children creates small opportunities for connection, curiosity and shared experience.
That's what Movers & Makers is really about.
Not creating the perfect picture.
Creating a moment together.
Bring Movers & Makers to your community
Movers & Makers can also be commissioned by community organisations, family services, charities, schools, venues and local partners.
We can create one-off experiences, holiday activities or a series of sessions tailored to your community.
Looking for something creative, accessible and genuinely enjoyable for children and their grown-ups?
